no one knew that the world would actually end in 2012, but it did. war happened all around the world like a disease no one could cure. bombs were exploding across seas and no one really knew why. the conspiracies stated it was caused by toxic fumes released by global warming that created everyone to turn on each other... everyone blames the government for what happen. but it doesn't matter, does it? because they are dead. thousands died before action was taken to save humanity. finally, after a millennia of conflict, in 2077 the world could contain itself no more. vaults were made underground to save a hundred pupils in every vault. only a thousand vaults were made, and only seven hundred didn't collapse under the explosions. in these vaults people were made known of what had happened and why they were there, they were also told to never return to the surface for fear it would no longer be inhabitable.
after hundreds of years people began to wonder... was the surface really that bad? over a thousand years, in 3050, after the world fell into war people climbed out of the vaults to find exactly what they feared most, a destroyed world... however, what they had hoped for was true: it wasn't completely inhabitable. and what one would expect of humanity? they started all over. buildings were re-made from the ground up with whatever was left of the destroyed world and society slowly began to rebuild itself. but while creating this new world, they discovered that it was far more different than they thought. lions, tigers, and bears, oh my! was no more and instead horrid beasts, deformed and mutated by the war. humans, susceptible of the radiation, began to melt and decay becoming what most call zombies... but that wasn't all. four other creatures of the night sprung up which all came from humans themselves. after years of living in this new world, everything were given new names.
humans were called "mortalis" for being mortal, the decaying zombie-like creatures were called "senium" for their hideous state, humanoids with mechanical arms and legs were called "metalli" for their metal bodies, shape-shifting beasts were called "brutum" for their animal like nature, crazed blood-sucking humans were called "caedis" for their murderous ways, and those who were not one monster but of many were called "ibrida" for their mixtures. these six species are just few of the many new beings of the new world and many are far too abominable to mention. few of these new beings were able to be domesticated and trained for the benefits of man -or what was once man- but most were not only unable to be domesticated, but also unable to be seen and returning with your life.
it is now the year 5084, and there are only two inhabitable cities in novam terram, or, "new earth," that were not over thrown by radiation and crazed survivors. these two places are in england. a hundred miles apart from each other are the city of peccatum, meaning "sin," where mostly the infected reside, and the city of concidit, meaning "torn," where mostly the human reside. the only way to get to one town to the other, which a rare amount of people ever do, is to take the under ground sub-way tunnels because the 100 mile stretch of wasteland between the two towns are far too dangerous for any one man to wonder.
now, in a world where everything has evolved to hunt and destroy you and the water is poisoned with radiation, you are left with only two options: survive or die.
