Role Played by @jayfeather
Character Name: Thistle
Rank:Beta Female
Pack: Umbra
Gender: Female
Age: 3 1/2 years
Appearance: Grey, jagged fur with dark (grey) and light grey speckles. Fading scar on her muzzle stretching from her right eye to her left lower jaw.
Mate: None
Pups: None
Relatives: Older brother Coal (current whereabouts unknown by Thistle) and her father, Pine. (Pine is currently living a little ways past the outskirts of the mountains)
Personality: Very calm and collected. Her slow tactics of numbing stressful situations are extraordinary. She prefers to keep quiet, only speaking when necessary such as announcing a message to the pack or speaking to someone whom has begun to collect fear or worry in their hearts in that soothing voice of hers she keeps hidden so often. Rarely panics or loses her temper, but has been known to turn to aggression if her calming methods do not follow through correctly.
History: Raised by her father whom was not very skilled at hunting, thus never providing enough food for the two hungry siblings, Coal and Thistle. Pine eventually was able to raise the pups long enough for them to leave the den and learn the basics of hunting before he disappeared for an entire month. Their senses and skills still average at best, the two siblings attempted to find their father for weeks with no success. After having appeared to be abandoned, Coal began to join with shady wolves and packs. With these sinister rouges and groups of murderers, he raided all nearby packs for food and supplies. Coal would return to Thistle every week, offering delectable stolen prey, and would be refused each time. Thistle new what kind of wolf Coal had become, and she wanted nothing more to do with him. One night, a month before their father had left, Thistle decided to leave her old rouge-infested home and join a pack-one that had not been invaded by Coal and his thieving acquaintances. Just as Thistle was padding away from her now former home, Pine appeared in the distance. They spoke, and, after some explaining, Thistle accepted what Pine had told her: Coal threatened to murder him. Pine had been forced away by his own son, who wanted the forest to himself alone. If he had not obeyed, then Pine would have been killed. The two of them left the place instantly, heading for a pack whom they'd desperately hoped would be somewhere close. Unfortunately, Coal had found their scent, and soon after, them. Thistle tried to defend her father against the livid Coal, but instead only received a gash on her muzzle. After a few quick nips to Coal's legs, Pine was able to buy enough time to escape. Thistle fled as well, but headed in a different direction-one that seemed to shine slightly brighter, and gleam with the opportunity of a fresh start in life.
Other: Her fur is unusually spiky. She has tried to smooth it over many times, but with no success. So, she allows it to stay in its always-looks-like-she's-ready-to-fight way.
